HERITAGE HOMES JAPAN

Architecture/Design

For those who are buying a farmhouse or an unrenovated Kyoto shophouse, we offer both architectural and interior design services. The wooden structure of a Kominka (farmhouse) and Machiya (Kyoto shophouse) is intricate, with interconnecting columns and beams. It takes a certain skill and experience to re-purpose a heritage building for modern use; increasing ceiling heights, larger windows to let the light in, and increasing the room sizes. Heritage Homes has the in-house expertise to handle the transformation of heritage buildings.

We are extremely excited to be able to offer refined, bespoke and high-quality interior architecture and design solutions in conjunction with Interior Architect and Designer, Sophie Lucas.

This means greater longevity, minimised upkeep and a better return on your investment.
